For primary teaching, D.El.Ed is the route, offered by government DIETs and private colleges. Government DIET seats fill first — nominal fees and recruitment boards know them well.

A B.Ed alone does not give a job: government school posts need WB Primary TET (or CTET for central schools) plus the state recruitment process; private schools recruit directly with the same qualifications. Ask any college how many recent students cleared WB Primary TET — that is the outcome that matters.
